PERSONAL PROFILE
I have been the leading person at the University of kerbala in terms of promoting its relationship with other world Universities. Part of my duty was to engage in bilateral negotiations with the major world Universities. I also am an enthusiastic and dedicated person, who enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team. I am reliable, always deliver on time and thrive on completing a job to its specification. I am quick to grasp new ideas and concepts and able to develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. I am well motivated and organised and can work well on my own initiative. I possess excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate concisely at all levels
I have a diverse professional background with educational qualifications in Instruction, Research, management and Interpretation through years of experience in academic institutions as well as international CSOs and NGOs.

Lecturer and Director of scholarships
I have been assigned the task of managing the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations and also taught a number of English Language courses to Literature at the department of English
Duties included:
- Contributing to the creation, design and implementation of the new Advanced English Minor programme
- Holding negotiations with many Internationally recognized universities.
- Deciding on curricular objectives and time management of outcome goals.
- Introducing postgraduate students to basic research methods such as hypothesis formation, selection of resources, data collection techniques, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Providing model sessions for undergraduates and teacher trainees.
- Mentoring new teachers and participating in regular peer observation sessions.
2007 – 2008

Lecturer
Teaching English Drama at the Department of English. The lecturer’s
responsibility was to raise learners’ proficiency and mastery in English Drama.
Teaching Arabic for 4th year students at the School of Diplomacy affiliated with
the department of Asian Studies
Duties included:

- Setting pre-requisite criteria for each module & conducting individual and group tutorials.

Translator/Interpreter
I was engaged as a translator/interpreter for Kerbala City Council after the
deposition of Saddam and provided language services to different public
sector institutions such as Social Services, Police and Court House. Main
duty was to be promptly available to offer Arabic-English-Arabic interpretation.
Duties also included translating and certifying written material.

Teaching English in the UAE. – Dubai International Private School in Garhood-

Communication
- Good communication skills gained from keeping abreast with the best international academic institutions and Universities and dealing with them tactfully and diplomatically.

- I have been leading my University’s negotiations with many international Universities including ( Leicester University, Demontfort University, Cardiff University (UK) , Oklahoma University (USA), Moscow University, Voronezh State University, Saratov State University, Petersburg State University (Russia), University of Life Sciences, University of Chemistry, South Bohemia University, and Burno University(Zech Republic)

- Experience gained from various roles of employment made it possible for me not only participate in teamwork but rather manage and organise teamwork in the most efficient possible way.
