Training Course on student discipline instructions
Among the series of activities held by the Department of Continuing Education in the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala, a course was held at ten o’clock in the morning today, Sunday 3-19-2023, in the Hall of (sayed al shuhada), a course under the title (Student Discipline Instructions) for the initial and higher studies in Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007, in which the assistant legal advisor (Falah Abdul Hussein Jassim) and the assistant legal advisor (Abeer Mohi Mustafa) lectured.
The training course, which lasts for three days, aims to: Educate students about the instructions for discipline students of primary and higher studies in the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007, in order to avoid students from committing violations that occur during the study period.
Among the students’ discipline instructions, which were discussed, are “compliance with the internal laws and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – not to harm religious beliefs, national unity and national feelings, or deliberately stir up sectarian, ethnic or religious strife – and not to harm the reputation of the Ministry and its institutions – Respect for the administration, faculty and staff – Not to do actions that would disturb order, tranquility and tranquility within the university campus – Preserving the requirements and property of the college and the university – Not to disturb the proper conduct of studies in the college – Avoid calling for organizations that deepen discrimination – Avoid propaganda for any party or organization A political, ethnic, national or sectarian group – not to invite party figures to give lectures or hold partisan or religious propaganda seminars in order to preserve national unity.
It is noteworthy that the instructions were issued with (15) articles, and the penalties for non-compliance with them range from (warning – dismissal for 30 days – temporary dismissal for a period not exceeding one academic year – final term) and according to the type of violation.
Part of the symposium was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. (Hassan Habib Al-Kariti) and a number of the faculty and students of the college in the minor and major studies.
