English Department Holds a Scientific Debate with its Counterpart at the University of Babylon
Under the auspices and attendance of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities / University of Kerbala, Professor Dr. (Sabah Wajid Ali), and based on the principle of scientific and academic communication, to enhance self-confidence and self-esteem in students, and to acquire knowledge and delve into various sciences outside the scope of the curriculum, the English Department in the college organized a scientific debate between the College of Education for Humanities / University of Karbala and its counterpart at the University of Babylon, for third-stage students in the two departments on the morning of Thursday, February 29, 2024, in one of the halls of the English Department, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Dr. (Hamed Ghattan Al-Asadi).
The scientific and arbitration committee was joint between a number of lecturers from the two colleges.
The debate, which was moderated by Dr. Raith and Dr. Mustafa Abbas, which was characterized by enthusiasm and great competition, ended with the victory of the English Department students at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Karbala, over their peers from the University of Babylon.
