Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education for Human sciences, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, along with his assistants for administrative and scientific affairs, and under the supervision of the respected Head of the English Department, Assistant Professor Diaa Khalil Nayel, English department presented by its teaching staff and its students has launched an initiative for a tree-planting to decorate the entrances of the the department with flower pots and perennial trees. By doing so, this will increasegreen spaces at the University of Kerbala and freshens the air as well as it helps improving mental and physical health.
It is worth mentioning that this initiative is part of the monthly activates that English department work for to encourage students to engage actively and involve them in teamwork.
