A Staff Member from the College of Education for the Humanities Participates in the “Waken Your Heart: Mastering the Art of Communication” Course

As part of valuable and profound lectures that elevate us to higher levels of understanding, Dr Du’a Kamil, a staffmember from the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, delivered a lecture on the Arabic language at the Family Guidance Center affiliated with the Holy Husayniya Shrine, as part of their course titled “Waken Your Heart: Mastering the Art of Communication“.

The lecture focused on communication skills, beginning with the question, “Which is better: silence or speech?” Dr Kamil discussed the question while referring toauthentic narrations from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). She then clarified the concept of communication skills and their importance, emphasising that they are the foundation from which other skills emerge. Additionally, she outlined how to develop these skills, highlighted common flaws, and discussed potential obstacles to effective communication.
