The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities, at the University of Karbala held a scientific symposium on (Addressing Youth Problems is a Condition for Achieving Communal Security), lectured by Professor Qasim Hussein Saleh.
The symposium aims at discussing the most important problems that our youth suffer from today, such as unemployment and drugs, and to identify their causes and get to know the ways to reduce them, treat them as well.
In conclusion, the symposium came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is to unify the efforts of academic institutions and concerned parties to develop a systematic plan to limit the spread of these phenomena and reduce their effects on society.
