One of the staff members from the History Department at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Kerbala University, the esteemed Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Al-Karbalaei, was chosen by Al-Iraqiya Channel to represent the college in the documentary program (Christian Presence in Iraq in General, Especially Karbala, from the Pre-Islamic Era to the Islamic Era).
For his part, Dr. Al-Karbalaei stated: “Our participation was in discussing the Christian presence in Karbala, particularly in the areas located west of Karbala, represented by Ain al-Tamr and its neighboring areas. We focused our discussion on the Al-Qusair or Al-Aqaisar Church, which is 5 km away from the Al-Aziz Fortress towards Ain al-Tamr.”
