The College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Training Course on the Geographic Assessment of the Role of Certain Climatic Elements in Modern Water Technologies

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala organized a training course titled “Geographic Assessment of the Role of Certain Climatic Elements in Modern Water Technologies in Kerbala Governorate”. The course was presented by Professor Dr. Hussein Fadhil Abid, Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Mohammad Alwan, and Assistant Lecturer Zaid Kumil Jawad, with the attendance of faculty members, staff, and students of the college.

The course aimed to identify the key climatic factors affecting water technologies and how these factors can reduce their efficiency. It also provided an overview of the modern water technologies currently available, along with a climatic profile of Kerbala, detailing how some institutions have implemented these technologies and their impact on agricultural reality and increased production.

The course covered the following topics: a climatic overview of Kerbala and how climatic elements affect sprinkler performance, a study of the main climatic factors (temperature, rainfall, and humidity), as well as types of modern sprinklers and local and international applications and experiments in Kerbala or similar regions.
