The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Karbala University organized a training course on “Modern Teaching Methods,” presented by (Prof.M.Dr. Ali Hamza Hadi, and.M.Dr. Alaa Abdullah Abbas, and.M.Dr. Hamid Shahab Ahmed), in the presence of the college professors and students.
The course included the following topics: understanding the concepts related to teaching methods, strategy, model, theory, active learning approach, curriculum in its modern and traditional sense, and teaching, as well as how teachers interact with primary and secondary school students. It also covered the introduction of some strategies and methods used by teachers, in addition to familiarizing with modern strategies such as brainstorming, role-playing, cooperative and reciprocal learning, the one-minute strategy, the fishbone strategy, and other modern strategies.
The course aims to introduce professors and teachers to these strategies and their use in teaching.
