Dr. Ahmad Fadhel Al-Mas’oudi Lectures in a Training Course on Gender Justice

As part of the community activities of the University of Kerbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmad Fadhel Al-Mas’oudi, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities, lectured in a training course titled “Multiple Perspectives on Gender Justice: Legal, Psychological, Technological Frameworks, and Contemporary Social Issues”. The course was organized by the Gender Justice Unit at the University Presidency in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center.

Dr. Al-Mas’oudi participated in the session on Contemporary Social Issues, in which he addressed the concept of modernity and the evolution of societal problems in the contemporary era. He highlighted the impact of foreign ideas on traditional norms and noble values, and pointed out significant issues affecting youth and families, such as: substance abuse, poverty, family disintegration, social media, and discrimination based on religion or sect. He emphasized that resolving these problems requires accurate diagnosis by the relevant authorities, and that a collective sense of responsibility toward the social fabric is a crucial factor in protecting society from external threats.

It is worth mentioning that the course was managed by Dr. Haura’ Abdul-Razzaq, head of the Gender Justice Unit at the University Presidency, and attended by several university professors and students.
