A Faculty Member from the Department of English Participates in the First International Renewable Energy Conference in Iraq

Mr. Ahmed Hameed Al-Abadi, a faculty member from the Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, participated in the First International Renewable Energy Conference in Iraq, held in Baghdad. The conference was organized by the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, the Iraqi Federation of Industries, and a group of major global companies operating in the field of renewable energy. Invitations were extended to Iraqi university professors, prominent business figures, and experts to attend the event.

The conference featured presentations by professors from foreign and Arab universities, including those from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, the UAE, Qatar, and others. In addition to contributions from Iraqi university professors, the studies presented provided in-depth analyses of Iraq’s energy challenges, along with proposed solutions that align with the sustainable development of various sectors of the state.

Al-Abadi’s participation in the conference was in line with the directives from the esteemed University Presidency and the Deanship of the College of Education for the Humanities, emphasizing the importance of involving academic staff in scientific activities and international conferences. This participation reflects the college’s efforts to engage with both public and private sectors in contributing to positive societal change.
