Dr. Mohammed Mahdi Ali Al-Shubbari, Head of the Department of History, attended the Accreditation Committee meeting for Colleges of Education in Iraq, held at Ibn Rushd College of Education for the Humanities. He represented the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ali Atiyah Sharqi, Head of the Department of History at Ibn Rushd College of Education, and Dr. Sabah Mahdi Rameedh, who represented the Dean and chaired the Deans’ Committee.
After welcoming the attendees, the meeting proceeded with discussions and reviews of the curriculum that had been agreed upon during the first meeting. Following some feedback and observations on the courses, certain adjustments and updates were made to ensure the completeness and coherence of the educational content.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the College and Chair of the Deans’ Committee met with the Heads of History Departments, extending a warm welcome and commending their efforts. He emphasized the importance of the curricula and their role in accreditation programs, responding to questions and inquiries from the attendees. He wished everyone success in completing this national task.
