Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with the support of the Presidency of Kerbala University and the supervision of the Department of Artistic and Cultural Activities represented by Asst.Lect.. Rassel Salam Abdul Amir, in collaboration with our college, participated in the university festival for short films with the film “Clippings,” which was held at Al-Kitab University in Kirkuk, with the participation of 48 public and private Iraqi universities.
Despite the participation of universities with specialized faculties and departments in fine arts and film production, the film “Clippings” presented by our university students achieved eighth place among the top positions, highlighting the university as one of the distinguished educational institutions in supporting student creativity. The college team consisted of: (student Hussein Mohammed Noor, and student Jaafar Dhiya Jaafar).
The film included the theme of cooperation between the service owners and the students to achieve sustainable development, highlighting their efforts in delivering outstanding work that reflects creativity and the spirit of collaboration.
It is worth mentioning that this achievement reflects the College of Education for Humanities’ commitment to supporting student talents and enhancing creative activities.
