The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities at Kerbala University organized a workshop on “Guidance Methods for Dealing with Adolescent Problems,” presented by (M.Assistant Professor. Noor Maki Hamid, and Prof. Nada Raheem Sultan), in the presence of the department’s professors and students. The adolescent stage is one of the most critical and delicate phases that a person goes through in their various stages, characterized by continuous renewal. The danger in this stage, which transitions a person from childhood to adulthood, lies in the changes in various aspects of development (physical, physiological, mental, social, emotional, religious, and moral). During this stage, a person is exposed to multiple internal and external conflicts that drive them to achieve certain needs and demands, which may be hindered by customs, traditions, and upbringing conditions. Thus, it represents a complex period of transformation and growth, during which changes occur that impact behavior and personality. The workshop aimed to clarify:1.
