As part of the activities for Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a cultural seminar titled “Building the Future Leaders: The Roles of the Continuing Education and Psychological Counseling Units as Pillars of University Leadership.” The seminar was led by Dr. Hussam Saleh Al-Rubaei and Assistant Lecturer Malik Raheem Al-Hassmouti, with the attendance of faculty members and students from the department.
The Continuing Education and Psychological Counseling Units are considered essential pillars in building the future leaders and enhancing university leadership. Through these units, students’ skills are developed, their personalities are refined, and they are empowered to become active individuals capable of facing the challenges of the modern era. Moreover, providing a supportive and sustainable environment instills values of innovation and excellence. University investment in these units is a direct investment in a bright future for society. Therefore, collaboration among all parties is a crucial step toward achieving this noble goal.
The seminar aimed to introduce students to the roles of the Psychological Counseling and Continuing Education Units, as well as their contribution to student development and fostering leadership in learning.
