College of Education for Humanities organizes a training workshop on effective time management

As part of the activities and events of the Global Leadership Week, the English Department at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala organized a training workshop on ((Effective Time Management: A Guide for University Students to Achieve Balance and Achievement)), lectured by Dr. Haider Kabashi, and attended by students of the department.

The workshop aimed to:

1. Raise awareness of the importance of time management.

2. Develop personal planning skills.

3. Develop the ability to set priorities.

4. Confront distractions and improve focus.

5. Stimulate self-assessment and review

The workshop included the following topics:

1. The importance of time management: Explaining how time management helps achieve balance between study and personal life, and increases productivity.

2. Setting goals: Focusing on setting short- and long-term goals to direct effort effectively.

3. Task management: Using tools such as daily and weekly task schedules to divide activities according to priority.

4. Overcoming distractions: Discussing ways to reduce distractions such as the phone and social media.

5. Assessment and Review: Encourage students to continually assess their progress and adjust their plans based on the results.

In addition to practical activities to apply the concepts directly and motivate students to improve their time management.
