The College of Education for the Humanities organizes a training course on modern trends in teaching geography

The Department of Geography, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Section at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a training course titled “Modern Trends in Teaching Geography” The course was presented by Dr. Haider Mohammed ZagheerDr. Nibras Ahmed Kamil, and Dr. Noor Hussein Faidhee. The course targets graduates from the Department of Geography who are employed in the public and private sectors, as well as those who are not yet employed.

The course aims to enhance the efficiency of graduates and move them from traditional teaching methods to modern ones, by utilizing strategies like modern learning, active learning, and others in teaching geography, to keep up with on-going developments.

The course focused on the differences between modern and traditional teaching methods, or what is known as collaborative or active learning.
