As part of the activities and events of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for Humanities at Kerbala University organized a workshop titled “Geography of Innovation and Entrepreneurship,” presented by Assistant Professor. Dr. Ameen Awad Kazem), in the presence of the department’s professors and students.The workshop aims to inform professors and university students and introduce them to geography as a leading applied science in the study of innovation and entrepreneurship. Geography has many studies related to innovation and entrepreneurship, emphasizing how spatial contexts influence economic development, creativity, and business systems.The workshop included a discussion on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week and its importance, as well as focusing on the role of innovation among students and university professors and its impact on the country’s economic, social, and environmental growth. The university is the best place to encourage creative thinking and the development of new products and services to improve the quality of life. It is worth mentioning that this week focused on affirming the symbiotic relationship between geography and entrepreneurship, enhancing a deeper understanding of how location and spatial factors drive economic success and societal progress
