The College of Education for the Humanities Organizes a Cultural Seminar on Transportation and the Environment

As part of the activities and events of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala, in coordination with the Technology Section, organized a cultural seminar titled “Transportation and the Environment: Impact and the Role of Sustainability Initiatives from a Historical Perspective” The seminar presented by Assist. Lect. Israa Mohammed Ali Abd-AKarim KassabAssist. Lect. Riyad Rayhan Manshoud,and Assist. Lect. Zainab Hammud Kazar, with the attendance of faculty members and students of the college.

The seminar aimed to highlight and raise awareness about the impact of transportation on environmental pollution and the necessity of using these means in a conscious way to achieve a healthy environment free from all types of environmental pollution. It also focused on the significant role that environmental organizations have begun to adopt through sustainability initiatives to protect and monitor the environment from degradation, reduce pollution, and minimize its effects.

The seminar covered the following topics: transportation from the past to the present and its impact on environmental pollution, as well as the role of sustainability initiatives in reducing environmental pollution.
