Meeting of the Academic Classification and ProgramingAccreditation Committees in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences

As part of the continuous efforts and diligent follow-up to enhance the position of the college and its departments, the Academic and Programing Accreditation Committee, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Section, held an important meeting with the subcommittees of the college departments, under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Hussein Al-Izerjawi. The meeting was attended by committee members to discuss several important points aimed at promoting the implementation of program accreditation.

Dr. Moaiyed Omran Jiad, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, presented a set of suggestions and recommendations aimed at accelerating the achievement of the standards followed in programing accreditation. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of completing the self-assessment reports for the departments as quickly as possible to ensure the achievement of quality standards. Additionally, the necessary steps for improving the accreditation process were discussed, including analysinginfluencing factors, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and implementing specific standards for each department.

It was also emphasised on developing specific strategic plans to improve and increase collaboration with the Kerbala Education Directorate, enhance the teaching and learning environment, and implement national accreditation standards for the programs of the educational group colleges through various criteria distributed across specific committees, to ensure their improvement and development.
