A thesis with the title Arrogance and Its Relationship with Social Pressure Among University Students was debated in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala. The study was conducted by Esraa Abais Shwaili (MA) under the supervision of Dr Aliaa Naseer O’bais.
The significance of this study lies in understanding the social behaviour of university students and providing a comprehensive perspective on how arrogance influences their interactions with peers. Additionally, it contributes to raising social awareness among students and guiding educational efforts toward fostering academic growth.
The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter addresses general concepts and definitions of arrogance and its types. The second chapter focuses on key concepts related to arrogance and strategies for managing social pressures. The third chapter presents the research methodology, tools, and statistical analyses. Finally, the fourth chapter details the findings, which indicated no correlation between arrogance and social pressure among university students based on variables such as gender, specialization, and social pressure.
