A book entitled ((Copying and Scribes in Karbala: Through the Unified Catalogue of Iranian Manuscripts (Funkha) was issued by: Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmad Fadel Al-Masoudi, who teaches in the Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities. The book is published by the Centre of Kerbala for Studies and Research at the Holy Hosseiniya Shrine. The book has (300) pages of middle size.
The book provides bibliographic information within its many chapters by collecting the Karbalaite scribes and the copies that were copied in Karbala from the Unified Catalogue of Iranian Manuscripts (Funkha) by Mustafa Darayati. For that, this book is the catalogue of the catalogue in a specific part of it. It is limited to mentioning the name of the scribe, author, or author who copied his book in Karbala, the date of the copy, and the library where it is located, what number it is in, and the name of the city in which the library is located. Thus, we obtained the names of personalities and at the same time we obtained the titles of the manuscripts copied in Karbala and their locations in the libraries.
The number of scribes we obtained was 539, who copied 1029 copies, from the sixth solar century to the middle of the fourteenth solar century, which corresponds to the fifteenth lunar century, and the twenty-first century AD.
