The Dean of the College of Education for Humanities holds a meeting with students’ representatives

The respected Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala, Professor Hadi Al-Saeedi, met with the representatives of the students’ divisions for the academic stages of all departments of the college. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mu’ayyad Imran Jiyad, the Director of the Media and Governmental Communication Division, Prof. Dr. Adi Obaidan Al-Jarrah, and Asst.Lect. Ahmed Al-Abadi, a lecturer in the English Language Department.

The meeting included discussing many topics, including the scientific, administrative, social and cultural aspects of study within the college, as well as the students’ problems that were raised by the division representatives. The Dean stressed the need to address them, work on consolidating the academic components and making proposals and treatments for raising the college’s classification within the approved classifications, in addition to the necessity of supporting students to the college’s official website and visiting it continuously, and the importance of students’ participation in voluntarily work and community service that serves the educational and societal process.

The Dean encouraged the representatives by raising such issues like: “We have many initiatives, including the student lecturer, through which the student plays an active role as an effective teacher, and we need your great presence in this and your continuous communication with the Media Department, because it reflects a positive image of the college and the students and that they are able to provide what is best, and we also have two competitions that are based on the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein regarding the best graduation ceremony to give a positive image of the students in all its details, and the short film competition to create purposeful content, and to create a creative environment in our college, to provide what it deserves to be the first.” In conclusion, the Dean thanked all the students and stressed that our presence is dedicated to serve their stuudents, and you are the basis of successes and you have the ability to create ideas and read ideas, so we are all confident in you and we are with you in overcoming all obstacles and providing you with all the necessary tools, so that we are one hand in creating success.
