The Department of Applied Geography Organizes a Scientific Trip for Students to the Ancient City of Babylon

As part of its scientific activities and to complement the practical aspects of the student’s curriculum, the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organised a scientific trip to the ancient city of Babylon. The trip included first- and second-year students from both the morning and evening studies, under the supervision of Dr. Hani Jaber Al-Mass’oudiand the department’s staff members.

The aim of the trip was to introduce the students to the ancient city of Babylon, allowing them to explore its ruins and inscriptions. Additionally, the trip included an entertaining aspect, with a visit to the Babylon Resort, designed to break the students’ daily routine and immerse them in a more interactive, practical learning environment that prioritizes student engagement and benefit.
