The Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organised a scientific lecture titled Teaching Spoken Language: Language and Intelligibility, presented by Assist. Lect. Abbas Salem Hamad from Dhi Qar. The lecture was attended by the students of the department as well as several staff members.
The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of using English correctly by students and to explore the challenges they may encounter in their usage.
Moreover, the lecture covered several key topics, including identifying challenges in the use of English, emphasizing the significance of proper language use, and proposing suitable conditions to facilitate its effective application.
