The adoption of the electronic system in the College of Education for the Humanities to obtain graduation documents and endorsements

As part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Education for the Humanities to adopt digital transformation in the university and academic environment, and in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, besides the Presidency of the University of Kerbala, the College of Education for the Humanities, represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, has directed the teaching and administrative staff to keep pace with these developments, including the enhancement of the Graduate Studies Unit in the college. It is worth mentioning that this involves changing the nature of interactions among members of the university community through the diverse use of modern devices and communication channels, benefiting from new information technology applications, and harnessing them to improve performance through interaction automation. One of the important steps that the college has started to implement is the electronic request for obtaining the graduation document and endorsement. The request is submitted through the website of the college, and the designated employee is responsible for responding to and processing the requests. This enables the college to expedite the completion of tasks and activities by simplifying work procedures, facilitating information storage, and ensuring quick retrieval, in addition to reducing complex routine procedures. With these transformations, the college is moving forward to achieve the ministry’s goals and the university’s directives which aimed at improving efficiency, streamlining procedures, completing digital documents, eliminating paperwork, and implementing services through smart applications via an information network to manage and evaluate the performance of educational and scientific processes and meet developmental needs in the fields of learning, education, scientific research, and community service.
