As part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Education for the Humanities to adopt digital transformation in the university and academic environment, and in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research besides the presidency of the University of Kerbala, the Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, directed the teaching and administrative staff and the Graduate Studies Unit in the college to adopt the electronic system in the conduct of work, correspondence, and transactions related to the college. Therefore, a database for graduate students was created, which contains all the students’ data from previous and current years, facilitating easy access to information. Most of the students’ data has been entered, and a timeline has been set to complete the work within a month from now to finalize all the information. In addition to creating the graduate studies database, which includes students’ names, course grades, and thesis or dissertation grades, the team was able to input all students’ grades from previous years. This system can be relied upon to calculate students’ averages with very high accuracy, helping to overcome many routine tasks and the resulting work with speed, efficiency, and utmost precision, requiring minimal effort. It is noted that the College of Education for the Humanitieshas begun to achieve the goals of the ministry and the directives of the university which aimed at improving efficiency, streamlining procedures, completing digital documents, eliminating paperwork, and implementing services through smart applications via an information network to manage and evaluate the performance of educational and scientific processes, and to meet developmental needs in the fields of learning, education, scientific research, and community service.
