The Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities Honours the Department of Arabic for Achieving Second Position in the National Ranking

The esteemed Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi, honoured the Department of Arabic for its efforts in enhancing academic standards, culminating in the department’s achievement of second place in the 2024 National Ranking for academic departments. This accomplishment reflects the department’s dedication to developing the educational environment, measuring institutional and programmatic performance indicators, and advancing scientific research.

In his remarks, the Dean emphasized that this achievement is the result of diligent work and sincere efforts by all members of the college. He extended congratulations to the college and the university for this distinction, which showcases a commitment to academic excellence and progress.

It is worth noting that the evaluation covered 2,072 academic departments across 100 public and private universities and colleges. The ranking was based on specific criteria of performance measurement, including 50% for quality and programmeaccreditation, 25% for staff members, and 25% for international rankings of academic disciplines.
