The lecturer, Prof. Dr. Samir Falih Hassan, from the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala, was chosen as an external member of the committee to discuss a doctoral dissertation which is entitled “Spatial Dimensions of Social Maps in Iraq Using Geographic Information Systems GIS”, for the student Zeina Karim Abdul Rahman, at the College of Education Ibn Rushd at the University of Baghdad.
The dissertation was subjected to a serious scientific discussion, henceforth, the best wishes of a continued success and guidance go to the student and the committee members for their valuable scientific efforts.
