The Council of the College of Education for the Humanities held its 7th session for the academic year (2024-2025) under the chairmanship of the esteemed Dean, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi, with the presence of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, as well as the Heads of the Departments and the Secretary of the College Council.
The meeting began with the recitation of Al-Fatiha in honour of the martyrs of Iraq, after which several important topics were discussed, including the focus on national ranking, the development of infrastructure, as well as decorating the college with statues of prominent scientific figures. The meeting also emphasised the periodic evaluation of staff members and employees, in addition to discussing student affairs and initiating a magazine dedicated to their interests and showcasing their talents.
Moreover, the meeting reaffirmed the importance of scientific publication in Scopus-indexed journals and conducting research papers in collaboration with foreignprofessors. Furthermore, the council indicated the college’s continued intention towards its digital transformation, in line with the digital shifts being adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Near the conclusion of the session, the Dean expressed his gratitude to the council members for their commitment to the assigned tasks and instructions. He also emphasised the importance of teamwork in advancing the scientific journey.
