A Faculty Member from the College of Education for the Humanities Participates in a Scientific Seminar on Negative Phenomena Intruding into Society

As part of efforts to address pressing societal issues, Prof.Dr. Haider Al-Karbalaei, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities, participated in the scientific seminar organized by Kerbala Centre for Studies and Research at the Holy Hussainiya Shrine in cooperation with Kerbala Technical Institute and Kerbala Crime Prevention Department. The seminar, titled “Negative Phenomena Intruding into Society,” was held at Kerbala Technical Institute’s hall.

The seminar addressed the most prominent negative phenomena threatening society, with a focus on drugs as one of the main risks affecting the youth. Prof. Dr. HaiderAl-Karbalaei reviewed the importance of raising societal awareness about the dangers of this phenomenon and the effective ways to combat it.

At the end of the event, participants were honoured with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their contributions to the success of the seminar, which emphasized the importance of uniting efforts between scientific, security, and societal institutions to confront negative phenomena and protect the social fabric.
