As part of enhancing academic and research cooperation between Iraq and Iran, and opening new horizons for scientific and cultural exchange between educational institutions in the two countries, Mr Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr Hadi Al-Saeedi, participated in the activities of the (Iraqi-Iranian Science Week) organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Kerbala.
The scientific week included numerous activities, such as specialized workshops, scientific seminars, and lectures delivered by a select group of academics and researchers from Iraqi and Iranian universities, in addition to discussions on ways to enhance cooperation in all scientific fields, particularly the development of joint research programs.
The events also included the signing of several memoranda of understanding between Iraqi and Iranian universities, which aim to establish joint research programs, exchange students and academics, as well as organizing international scientific conferences in the future.
