In a significant step towards enhancing international scientific cooperation, the esteemed Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Saidi, met with Dr. Amjad Al-Ghazi, Cultural Relations Advisor at the Continuing Education Center at the American University in Baghdad, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting included an exchange of views on many topics, including the establishment of centres of excellence, the Creative Students Club, the formation of student teams, and other topics related to graduate employment and how to establish sustainability councils.
Ways to develop joint research projects, strengthen the educational and research process, and exchange academic expertise were also discussed, contributing to the advancement of scientific innovation in the region.
For his part, the Dean affirmed that these collaborations represent a qualitative leap in our college’s journey towards global recognition, and they provide an opportunity to strengthen the relationships between Iraqi and American universities, enhancing the status of higher education in both countries on the international stage.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to set a date to visit the American University and sign the memorandum of understanding.
