In the context of the construction and development renaissance witnessed by the University of Kerbala and its efforts to enhance educational and service infrastructures, and for a sustainable university environment, the esteemed university president, Professor Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, inaugurated the new building for the Department of English, accompanied by the esteemed Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, Professor Dr Hadi Al-Saeedi, and the esteemed Chairman of the KerbalaProvincial Council, Dr. Qasim Al-Yasari.
The opening was attended by the esteemed Vice Deans for Academic and Administrative Affairs and the Deans of the colleges, who were received by the respected Head of the Department of English, Assistant Professor Dheyaa KhaleelNayel, along with the department’s professors and students.
For his part, the university president delivered a speech on the sidelines of the inauguration, praising the efforts made by the college dean and department heads to enhance all aspects of performance and to achieve a sustainable and comfortable university environment for students and professors.
On another note, the Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the university administration for the support it provides to the college, commending all the efforts that have led to these achievements. He also stated that the college administration is moving forward with the implementation of many construction and development projects that serve both students and staff members
