The esteemed Dean of the College of Education the Humanities , Professor Dr. Hadi Al-Saidi, received a delegation from the Bina Center for Intellectual and Cultural Security affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine and the Director of the National Institute for Documenting Terrorism Crimes, Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Al-Jaafar.The two sides reviewed areas of cooperation and the possibility of establishing memoranda of understanding for holding scientific conferences and student activities, and benefiting from the university’s and the center’s expertise in documenting terrorism crimes and civil peace. Both sides called for holding joint seminars and the necessity of involving academic researchers in spreading the culture of awareness about documenting and addressing the crimes of terrorism, and advocating for the topic of civil peace, as it represents an urgent necessity after terrorism targeted civilians and attempted to sow discord among the people of the same country in the areas it occupied, and its efforts to erase national identity by destroying the country’s monuments and tampering with the people’s history. It is noted that the College of Education for the Humanities seeks continuous coordination with various cultural and religious institutions to organize awareness activities and educate students.
