The College of Education for the Humanities Organizes a Dialogue Seminar on the Student Disciplinary Law and Exam Committee Instructions

The Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities at University  of Kerbala organized a dialogue seminar titled “Student Disciplinary Law No. 160 of 2007 and the Exam Committee Instructions No. 134 of 2000”, presented by: (Prof. Dr. Falah Hassan Kazar, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kazim Hassan Jassim, and Lect. Dr. Haider Abd Al- Hussein Abd Al- Sada), with the attendance of the teaching staff and students of the college.

The seminar aimed to inform students about the provisions of the law that regulate the behaviour of university students and their relationships with university staff, including instructors, employees, and service workers. These relationships should be based on mutual respect and appreciation, both inside and outside the university campus. The seminar also sought to familiarize students with the mechanisms for maintaining their attendance and performing all of their exams, while avoiding cheating methods; as such actions will result in expulsion.

The seminar included key topics, such as a discussion of the Student Disciplinary Law No. 160 of 2007, as well as the current and amended Exam Committee Instructions No. 134 of 2000.

The seminar concluded with several recommendations, including encouraging students to avoid bad and inappropriate behaviours that may arise from some individuals, and to adhere to the values, principles, and moral standards promoted by our noble religion and emphasized by our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It also highlighted the importance of preserving the ethical values inherited from our cultural heritage and unique Iraqi Arab traditions.
