Two Instructors from the College of Education for the Humanities  participate in the International Conference on Languages, Linguistics, Translation, and Literature

Lect. Dr. Wafa Abbas and Lect. Dr. Mustafa Abbas Sahan, from the Department of English Language at the College of Education for the Humanities at University of Kerbala, participated in the 10th International Conference on Languages, Linguistics, Translation, and Literature, held in Ahwaz, Islamic Republic of Iran. They presented a joint paper electronically that titled ‘Equating and Contrasting in Religious Texts: A Critical Stylistic Study’.

The paper discussed the concepts of equating and contrasting in the Prophetic sayings (Hadiths) linguistically to identify implied ideologies by employing Jeffries’ 2010 critical stylistic analysis methodology.
