As part of the College of Education for the Humanities’ commitment to integrating sustainable development principles into its educational curriculum and research activities, and under the esteemed auspices of Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi, Dean of the College, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences organized its first cultural exhibition under the theme “Green Education and Its Role in Sustainable Environmental Education.”
The exhibition aimed to highlight the concept of sustainable development by emphasizing the conservation of natural resources, balancing human, environmental, and economic needs, and enhancing quality education and scientific research.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations sustainable development goals, particularly focusing on the capacity of the environment to sustain itself effectively while minimizing ecological degradation.
Notably, the exhibition was organized with the participation of students from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Ezirjawi, Head of the organizing committee and Head of the Department. The committee also included faculty members:
