The Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities at University of Karbala hosted the research sessions within the activities of the 6th International Conference on Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), titled “The Quranic Impact of Amir al-Mu’min Ali (peace be upon him) on Muslim Writings: A Study of Methodology and Tools” organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussainiya Shrine / Quranic House in cooperation with University of Karbala.
The research sessions were held in the Sayyid al-Shuhada and Al-Ma’arif halls, with participation from professors and researchers from various Iraqi and Arab universities. Besides that, the instructors enriched the scientific discussions by raising relevant questions and making valuable contributions.
At the conclusion, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Saeedi, the Dean of the College of Education, extended his thanks and appreciation, along with certificates of recognition, to the participants for their valuable scientific contributions.
It is noteworthy that the conference focused on the Quranic influence of Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him), both in terms of interpretation and sciences, and approached it according to modern research methodologies and its knowledge pathways in both the humanities and scientific disciplines. The aim was to present Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him) as a solution to all intersections, providing an authentic reference that can be reached to with the Quran.
