Staff Member from the College of Education for the Humanities Participates in Imam Hussein (PBUH) International Scientific Conference

Dr. Zaid Kamil Jawad Al-Fatlawi, a staff member in the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, participated in Imam Hussein (PBUH) International Scientific Conference under the title “The Qur’anic Influence of Imam Ali (PBUH) in Muslim Writings: A Methodological Study”. The conference was hosted by Dar Al-Qur’an, Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, in collaboration with the University of Kerbala.

Dr. Al-Fatlawi participated in the conference with a research paper titled “The Intellectual Influence of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) in the Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an: A Historical Study”. His study explores Imam Ali’s (PBUH) role in interpreting the Qur’an after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), emphasising his deep understanding of Qur’anic verses, derivation of religious rulings, and scholarly contributions. The research also highlights how Imam Ali (PBUH) applied Qur’anic values in addressing societal challenges and crises, providing insights into the practical implementation of these values within the Islamic community.
