In an initiative aimed at bringing joy to the hearts of the elderly and ensuring their health and needs, a delegation including the lecturer at the College of Education for the Humanities, Dr. Salam Salman Hussein, visited the elderly home in Karbala to offer congratulations on the occasion of the Sha’ban births of the pure Imams.
This visit comes within the framework of the commitment to serve the community by meeting with elderly men and women and listening to their social problems, and trying to find ways to solve them and reduce their negative impact on them.
The visit witnessed an agreement to find ways of cooperation between the nursing home and the university in order to create an atmosphere characterized by love, joy and happiness to draw a smile on the faces of the elderly and remove the specter of sadness from them, as well as encouraging them to draw a life full of love and optimism with the help of society. This humanitarian gesture in caring for this segment of society was also praised.
