In a scientific effort to address environmental and developmental issues, the Department of Applied Geography at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a symposium titled “The Role of Women in Achieving Environmental Sustainability”. Presentations were delivered by lecturers Asst. Lect. Mustafa Maki Jawad, Asst. Lect. Anfal Khudair Abbas, and Asst. Lect. Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, and the event was attended by faculty members and students of the college.
The symposium aimed to highlight the critical role women play in achieving sustainable development, particularly through adopting and promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
