Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance), the Department of English at the College of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a scientific seminar titled “Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance): The Hope of the Nation.” The seminar was presented by Lecturer Mr. Muslim Sadiq Hadi and attended by the esteemed Head of the Department, faculty members, and students.
The seminar aimed to strengthen the connection between Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance) and society, emphasize adherence to the principles of Islamic Sharia that the Imam advocates, and highlight the importance of assuming responsibility during the period of occultation.
The seminar addressed the following key topics:
- The reasons behind the occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi (Peace Be Upon Him).
- Evidence supporting the prolonged life of the Imam.
- Our responsibilities during the period of occultation.
It is worth noting that this seminar is part of a series of cultural and scientific activities sponsored by the department to raise awareness among university youth about their Imam of the Age, their duties during his occultation, and their role in preparing for his reappearance.
