Staff Member from the College of Education for the Humanities Presents a Seminar on “The Journey of Imam Hussein (PBUH)” at Al-Zahraa University for Women

Professor Dr. Haider Al-Karbala’i, a staff member in the Department of History at the College of Education for the Humanities, in cooperation with the Karbala Centre for Studies and Research at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, presented a seminar titled: “Tracing the Journey of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in Iraq” at Al-Zahraa University for Women. Notably, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, attended the seminar along with several staff members and students.

The seminar analysed the geographical and historical route of Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) journey from Mecca to Karbala and highlighted the importance of documenting it scientifically.

At the end of the seminar, Dr. Al-Sultani honoured the researchers with certificates of appreciation, commending their efforts in producing this pioneering study, which serves as a significant scientific reference and sheds light on the need for further research on the Renaissance of Hussein.
