Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fadhil Al-Mas’oudi, a faculty member in the Department of History, has been selected as a member of the Scientific Committee for the Ninth International Conference on the Arba’een Pilgrimage. This conference is organized by Imam Hussain Holy Shrine/ Kerbala Center for Studies and Research, in collaboration with the University of Baghdad and the Academic Council for the Arba’een Pilgrimage, under the theme: “The Arba’een Pilgrimage: An Embodiment of Spiritual Values and Scientific Advancement.” The conference is scheduled to take place during the Arba’een Pilgrimage in August 2025.
This participation reflects the ongoing efforts to involve the college’s faculty members in scientific activities organized by various institutions, particularly the holy shrines, in support of academic endeavors and in service of this significant occasion, which attracts millions of pilgrims from around the world.
