In line with its diverse activities, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for the Humanities organized an awareness campaign to address climate change. The campaign, supervised by the unit head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sundus Mohammed Alwan, involved faculty members from the Department of Applied Geography.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about climate change, promote afforestation, mitigate extreme temperatures, and combat desertification and drought. It sought to emphasize the importance of reducing pollution and fostering a collective sense of environmental responsibility among the university community.
The campaign also included invitations to various societal groups to reduce emissions and protect the environment by adopting environmentally friendly practices and products. It highlighted the significance of collective efforts in preserving the environment for future generations.
