The Student Activities and Arts Unit at the Faculty of Education for the Humanities, University of Kerbala, organized a joyful celebration to commemorate the blessed Sha’baniyah births. The event, held in collaboration with the Development and Advancement Team of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was attended by the Department Head of Arabic, Prof. Dr. Jinan Mansour Al-Jubouri, along with several faculty members and a group of students.
The ceremony began with reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Iraqi national anthem, a speech by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Al-Sa’di, and the presentation of poems and hymns celebrating the Muhammadan luminaries. These expressions conveyed love and loyalty to the noble household of the Prophet.
Students from the Department of Arabic, including Hussein Faiz Rahim, Redha Dhiaa Bahaa, Abbas Hadi Habib, Ali Khalil Hanoon, and Ali Haitham Fakhri, showcased exceptional performances of poetry and hymns.
The Head of the Unit of Artistic and Cultural Activities, Ms. Samira Atshan Al-Fayyadh, praised the students’ efforts and expressed her pride in their achievements.
