The doctoral thesis titled “The State of the Bahri Mamluks in Egypt and the Levant (648-784 AH)” was discussed in the History Department of the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala, through the book “Al-Arab in the Arts of Literature” by researcher Beydaa Khudair Abada, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hashim Nasser Hussein.
The importance of the thesis lies in highlighting the most significant topics of the intellectual encyclopedia in the book “Al-Arab in the Arts of Literature,” which sheds light on a historical period of the Bahri Mamluks in Egypt and the Levant. The information in the encyclopedia is characterized by comprehensiveness and objectivity, in addition to being an extremely important news encyclopedia that conveys various historical information that no researcher in the field can do without.
