As part of its commitment to international collaboration in research and academic workshops, the Department of English held a virtual workshop titled
“Curriculum Design“. Lect. Lobna Bent Khalifa (PhD), a professor at the University of Carthage, Tunisia, delivered the workshop that was designed for staff members and postgraduate students in the department.
Moreover, the workshop aimed at introducing participants to the curriculum as a structured academic plan for classroom experiences. It explored key aspects such as curriculum objectives, types, significance, and the relationship between lecturers and learners. Besides, the workshop examined how curricula incorporate planning, implementation, teaching methodologies, learning processes, assessment, and research across various educational levels.
It is worth noting that the Department of English seeks to strengthen academic cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise with universities and scientific institutions, fostering academic and pedagogical advancement.
