Department of English Vists Al-Sibtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders

In line with the College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Kerbala’s commitment to strengthening ties with academic and cultural institutions, particularly those associated with the Holy Shrines, a delegation from the Department of English visited the Al-Sibtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders, affiliated with Al-Hussain Holy Shrine. The Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dheyaa Khaleel Nayel, led the delegation along with other staff members and the Department’s students.

The visit began with Prof. Nayel extending the greetings and appreciation of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Sa’eedi, for the significant efforts made by the Academy in supporting children with autism.

Following this, the delegation was escorted on a tour of the Academy’s facilities by Mr. Ahmed Ali from the Public Relations and Media Department of the Academy. During the tour, the delegation was introduced to the therapeutic and recreational services provided to children with autism.

Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to engage with several specialists in the field of autism, who offered valuable insights into the scientific services provided by the Academy.

At the end of the visit, Prof. Nayel expressed his sincere appreciation for the Academy’s dedicated efforts in fulfilling the goals behind its establishment and for their ongoing contribution to the well-being of children with developmental disorders.
